PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-shrinkable packaging material which easily shrinks by heating and which can be used even for a commodity with a large dimensional difference by gluing a heat-shrinkable synthetic resin film with a specific shrinkage part on at least one surface of a metal foil. CONSTITUTION:It is formed by gluing a heat-shrinkable synthetic resin film on at least one surface of a metal foil while providing a shrinkage part. In this case, the width of the shrinkage part is made wider than the gluing part. The ratio of both parts (the width of the shrinkage part : the width of the gluing part) is made higher than 1.1:1, preferably higher than 1.5:1, more preferably higher than 2:1. For example, on both surfaces of an aluminum foil 1, a shrinkage part 11 with a width of 2mm is provided, an adhesive 12 is applied with a width of 1mm in parallel, and a heat-shrinkable vinyl chloride film 2 is glued from the both surfaces of the foil. The end of the film in the drawn direction is bonded to make a cylindrical shape. After conducting a preliminary shrinking, it is placed over a mouth part of a Japanese wine (sake) bottle. When it is made to shrink completely by superheated steam, the mouth part can be sealed well. |
