<p>PURPOSE:To perform automatic program searching of musics with high accuracy by determining the time length of the non-signal zone detected as intermusic spacing from the tape running speed at the fast feeding. CONSTITUTION:When the radius of a tape reel when it has completely taken up tape is let to be R, the overall length of tape (usable time length) to be T, tape thickness to be (t), the tape speed at the recording or reproducing to be V and the rotating speeds of a take-up revolving shaft 2 and a taken-up revolving shaft 1 to be a1, a2 respectively, then the tape running speed Vf at the fast feeding is expressed by the formula I. If the tape running speed at the start of taking-up is let to be V0, the time tau to be set in a timer becomes formula II. Here, alpha is the constant determined by the length of the non-signal zone. Hence, if Vf is calculated in a running speed operating part 7 by using the signals a2, a1 being inputted to a parameter input part 6 and T, (t), and further the tau having been calculated in a timer set time operating part 8 by using the output thereof is set in the timer by way of a timer setting part 9, then the timer actuates when the non-signal zone is detected and if it continues for the time tau, it is regarded to be the intermusic spacing. Thereby, the program searching of the music may be performed with high accuracy.</p> |
