This invention relates to an apparatus for handling bottles being fed to a bottling-washing machine. A plurality of bottles are placed in an upright position on a first conveyor means. At the output end of the first conveyor means is found a plurality of parallel divider plates for forming a plurality of discrete rows of bottles.
