PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of uneven densities in high speed scanning by disposing auxiliary electrodes in proximity to at least the stylus recording electrodes positioned near the center of each group in a both side control type electrostatic recorder. CONSTITUTION:Positive charges flow into the recording paper surface opposing to the styli S3 thru S6 near the center of a group gn from the grounded auxiliary electrodes Ean, Ebn in proximity to these styli through the impedances between these. In this case, the impedances between the auxiliary electrodes Ean, Ebn and the styli S3 and S6 show the relatively low values approximately equal to the impedances between the adjoining styli S1 and S8, or S8 and S1'' and therefore the influent speed of the charges is high. As a result, the surface potentials of recording paper at the center of the group rapidly rise similar to those near the boundaries and the gap potential differences between the surface of the recording paper and the stylus tip become nearly equal at the boundary and center of the group, thus the images free from uneven densities may be reproduced. |
