PURPOSE:To measure the spark-number without induction by making a magnitude and the number of a spark a signal with a rectifying spark detector and processing it quantitatively with a signal processor to display it with an indicator as the spark- number. CONSTITUTION:With providing a rectifying spark detector 2 which detects a rectifying spark generated at a commutator face 1 with two or more light receiving devices such as an image sensor composed of a photodiode array of a number of in-line photodiode and makes a signal from a magnitude and the number of generation of the rectifying spark, the output signal is quantitatively measured and processed with a signal processor 4 to display this output on an indicator 5 as a rectifying spark-number. By this means, a quantitative measurement of the spark- number is simply accomplished without induction. |
