PURPOSE:To eliminate trouble due to a difference in horizontal resolution between a CRT display and a plasma display by providing a means which generates display data based upon the horizontal resolution of the plasma display according to the horizontal resolution of the CRT display. CONSTITUTION:A display timing control circuit 32 is provided which thins out dots of text display characters to be displayed on the CRT display 50 at horizontal specific dot positions and displays the text display characters on the plasma display 40. Consequently, the trouble due to the difference in horizontal resolution between the CRT display 50 and plasma display 40 is eliminated and the high resolution by the CRT display 50 and parallel display operation (dual display mode) by the CRT display 50 and plasma display 40 are selected optionally to perform display driving operation. |
