PURPOSE:To obtain a diaphragm of superior water resistance and superior release characteristic by thermoforming mixed sheeting of thermosoluble resin fibers. carbon or metal fibers and fluorine resin fibers. CONSTITUTION:This diaphragm comprises mixing and sheeting termosoluble resin fibers such as polyolefin base fibers or the like which form films when heated, carbon fibers or metal fibers for obtaining rigidity and further fluorine resin fibers for improving water resistance and release characteristic and thermoforming the sheet. The mixing ratios thereof are: with , for example, the fluorine resin fibers, mixing at a rate of about 7 to 20% gives good release characteristic from molds and water repelling effect, and with the carbon or metal fibers, mixing of 10 to 20% if desirable. Thereby, the water resistance is improved and the diaphragm for speakers having flat high frequency characteristics of superior expansion of a high frequency range may be obtained. |
