<p>PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT MOUNTING APPARATUS Percussion instrument mounting and actuating apparatus wherein a first percussion instrument such as a pair of cymbals or the like is mounted on a stand including an upstanding tube assembly and a pull rod within the tube assembly for actuating the instrument, the invention being characterized by apparatus for mounting and actuating a second percussion instrument such as a second pair of cymbals or the like with an extension rod detachably connectible to the pull rod of the upstanding tube assembly and connectible to actuate the second instrument, and supporting elements for a portion of the second instrument supporting a portion of the second instrument above the first instrument and stationary with respect to the stand, such latter support elements preferably being in the form of coaxially arranged lower and upper spider elements with pivotally interconnected arms arranged around the lower instrument, the arrangement being such that the percussion instruments may be played either simultaneously or individually by pull rod reciprocation.</p> |
