PEDAL MECHANISM FOR FOURRHAND PERFORMANCE OF PIANO

PURPOSE:To make it possible to accomplish the four-hand performance satisfactorily without any difficulty by arranging pedal groups, which are used to independently operate respective piano sound effect setting mechanisms at positions corresponding at least two sound regions at the lower front of a pedal body. CONSTITUTION:There are arranged at low and high sound sides of the lower front of a piano body two pedal groups (31A, 32A, 33A, and 31B, 32B, 33B), each of which is composed of three pedals for freely operating a softening mechanism, a muffler mechanism and a damper mechanism. The soft pedals 31A and 31B, muffler pedals 32A and 32B, and damper pedals 33A and 33B are arranged rotatably in a bracket 34 so that they can operate the softening, muffler and damper mechanisms in an independent manner.
