PURPOSE:To emit a sufficient quantity of light from a strobo thereby to prevent defficiency in exposure by operating a trigger circuit, only when the charging operation of a main capacitor is finished, so that the flash bulb may be lit. CONSTITUTION:The end of the charging operation of a main capacitor 3 is detected to render a monostable multivibrator 22 operative and to feed the signals of a synchro-contact 24 from the multivibrator 22 to a trigger circuit 14. As a result, the main capacitor 3 is charged with the voltage which is boosted by the operations of a main switch 11. When the capacitor 3 is charged to a preset level, a neon tube 17 is lit. Thus, a switching transistor 23 is turned on to render the multivibrator 22 operative. When a shutter is released to close the synchro-contact 24, the multivibrator 22 is operated to drive the trigger circuit 14 thereby to light the flash bulb 15. |
