PURPOSE:To expand the area effective for air intake so as to keep the heat exchange capacity from declining by forming in a lateral side and/or the backside of the box encasing a pipe shaft air inlets leading into the pipe shaft. CONSTITUTION:Air inlets 23, 24 are formed in the lateral sides and the backside of the box as well as in the front cover 20 so as to suck air into the box from an open corridor and a pipe shaft 2 respectively. In this constitution, even when the inlets 21 in the front are blocked, the minimum area for air intake is secured by the remaining two inlets 23, 24 in order not to cause trouble in the operation of the heat exchange unit. |
