PURPOSE:To provide the photosensitive material which can exhibit an excellent image preservable property even at and under a high temp. and high humidity by using a dispersion prepd. by emulsifying and dispersing a soln. mixture in which a specific coupler, coupler solvent and further a water insoluble org. solvent soluble homo- or copolymer consisting of the repeating unit having no acid groups in the main chain or side chain are dissolved to form the dispersion of fine lipophilic particles. CONSTITUTION:The dispersion of the fine lipophilic particles is the dispersion formed by emulsifying and dispersing the soln. mixture in which the coupler expressed by the formula I, the coupler solvent and further, at least one kind of the water insoluble org. solvent soluble homo- or copolymers consisting of the repeating unit having no acid groups in the main chain or side chain are dissolved. In the formula I, R1 denotes an aliphat. group, arom. group, etc.; R2 denotes a methyl group; R3 denotes a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, etc.; Y1 denotes a hydrogen atom or the group which can be eliminated after coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent. The image preservable property is improved in this way and the high color developability is exhibited even if the color developing soln. contg. substantially no benzyl alcohol is used. |
