<p>A check valve assembly for connection to a high pressure reciprocating pump cylinder comprises a valve body (10), an inlet check valve (50) and an outlet check valve (70). The inlet and outlet passages (26, 30) are parallel and spaced apart a distance at least as great as the radius of the passage (30). The inlet check valve (50) is mounted entirely on the planar surface (17). The outlet check valve (70) includes a valve seating element (72) removable from the assembly for servicing, and an outlet valve element (78) movable to and from a position in which it abuts the seating element (72). <IMAGE></p> |
