The room ventilator includes a heating unit (2) and a cooling units (4) between the air entry and air discharge openings, to suit hot or cold conditions. Each unit has a flap (3, 4) which can be swung down across the space between them, when in use. When the flaps are up, this space forms a bypass. The flow of air passes first throug the heating or cooling unit, then upwards past the flap, to the fan (1) above, passing through it. In an alternative design, the units (2, 4) are mounted one above the other, with the air passing through horizontally to enter a duct at the side, to travel upwards to the fan above.
|
