The device is for suction cleaning of floors and sidewalls in swimming-pools. Suction brushes (2) and/or operating rods (1) connected to them incorporate attachment of a second rod (3). This may be connected to the brush and/or the facing end of the operating rod so as to swivel through a detachable notching device. A hairpin bent leaf spring can be inserted in the end of the thin-tube second rod, with end coupling lugs passing out through holes to snap into holes in the brush, for detachable swivelling connection. This facilitates cleaning of walls, with two people operating the unit.
