Phosphonite der Formel <IMAGE> worin R C1-C18 Alkyl, R¹ Wasserstoff oder C1-C18 Alkyl und R² C1-C18 Alkyl, Phenyl mit 1 bis 3 Alkylgruppen substituiertes Phenyl, wobei die Alkylgruppen 1 bis 8 C-Atome enthalten, oder eine Gruppe der Formel <IMAGE> worin R<4> die Formel <IMAGE> und X = O oder S bedeutet, eignet sich als Stabilisator für organisches Material.
