The cap-shaped bearing support, for dynamoelectric machine, has a hub to hold the bearing for the rotor and an outer edge for fixing and centering onto the stator. The support is made by pressing or deep drawing. Support mfr. involves first forming a mating face (A') around the wider end parallel to the plane (A") of the bearing in the hub (4). A centering face (7) is then produced around the periphery at right angles to this plane and concentric with the circle formed by the hub diameter (D"). Finally a fixing surface (8) is formed on the outside.
