<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the control of applied pressure and cleaning of the pressure rolls of a laminator for laminating a film on a card, by means of a heat shield provided in a specific manner above the top pressure roll. CONSTITUTION:A laminating card inserted between the two sheets of laminating films having a heat-sensitive adhesive layer inside is fed from the left side, hot- pressed by the pressure rolls 3 and 4 and bonded, then delivered by the delivery rolls 28 and 29. The applied pressure of the top pressure roll 3 is controlled by turning the screws 24 to move the top roll together with the heat shield 18. In cleaning the pressure rolls 3 and 4, the screws 24 are pulled out, and the heat shield 18 is moved upward about the supporting shaft 20.</p> |
