The cupboard (1) for a piece of sound equipment, such as TV or radio set, has doors for closing it. The cupboard consists of one unit in the form of the casing, and a second unit in the form of a frame with doors; the second unit is fixed inside the first unit. The doors are attached to the front of the frame. The frame and the casing are held together by means of a plate between them. The plate is fixed to the front of the frame and has at least two projecting lugs on two opposite sides, which are fixed to the casing. The doors can be in the form of folding doors or flaps, or rollers.
