<p>Mechanism rapidly deposits sheets with the edges accurately aligned in a printing press, partic. one forming a tall stack, the sheets being delivered by an endless grip chain mechanism following the printing cylinder to the stack. Immediately before the stack when seen in the sheet travel direction is an air guide plate (1), from which tongues (2) are bent out, extending across it to form slits. The tongues slope the opposite way to the sheet travel direction. Pref. it is provided with an ink-rejecting coating.</p> |
