<p>PURPOSE:To cut patterns without damaging the other than cut portion with a tool body thrusted in after previously setting cutting depth and making location with a transparent guide cylinder applied on the surface of a printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION:A sliding sleeve 12 is fixed through the process consisting of fastening said slinding sleeve 12 on a rotary unit 9 while thrusting the former in the latter and tightening a screw 8. Next, a set-secrew 19 is loosened and the end face 23 of a transparent cylinder 17 adjusted to the tip 24 of a drill by turning said transparent cylinder 17 right and left. The setting of cutting depth is made by turning said cylinder 17 over he graduations corresponding to said cutting depth, said graduations being provided on said sliding sleeve 12 and cylinder 17, and fixation is made by tightening said set-screw 19. Next, a set-screw 18 is loosened, and said end face 23 is transferred before said tip 24 by the force of a spring 13. In this condition, the location f said tip 24 and cutting position is determined by eye with said end face 23 applied on the surface of a circuit board 1.
