摘要 PURPOSE: To keep a composite material tube from varying its length under effect of internal pressure by composing it with a fiber made of reinforcement layers and each layer composed of a fiber wound in one direction and a fiber wound in the opposite direction in a matrix and showing the whole fiber of the layer by a specific formula. CONSTITUTION: This is a composite material tube having composite layers 2, 4, 6, 8 of powerful pressure resistance and composite layers 3, 5, 7 of powerful tractive resistance alternately arranged on an inner sheath 1. The first composite layers 3, 5, 7 have a carbon fiber or the like symmetrically wound on it in an angle of +/-26 deg. with respect to the tube axis. The second composite layers 2, 4, 6, 8 have a glass fiber or the like symmetrically wound on it in an angle of +/-70 deg. with respect to the tube axis. These fibers are buried in a matrix and the fiber as a whole is represented by a specific formula. As a result, the tube does not require a tension system because it does not longitudinally vary even if it is effected by internal pressure.
