The present invention relates to a multifeed circular knitting machine of the type comprising a needle cylinder in which are displaceably arranged needles and jacks for selecting the latter into knitting positions, selecting means for controlling the jacks and a cam system for controlling both the jacks and the needles. This machine is characterized in that two swingable jacks are mounted below each needle in the needle. cylinder the neighbouring ends of which jacks are provided with selecting butts to which are attached the selecting elements of the rotatable selecting means for the purpose of selection, and in that surfaces are formed in the cam system for pushing back the selected swingable jacks in each feed in front of the clearing point thereof. Such arrangement makes possible to distribute about the circumference of the needle cylinder of plurality of feeds.
