<p>PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF 1,4-NAPHTHODINITRILE of the disclosure: Process for the preparation of 1,4-naphthodinitrile, by reacting o-phenylene-diacetonitrile with a glyoxalbisaldimine. By this process the 1,4-naphthodinitrile is easily obtained in a one-step process. This compound is an important intermediate for the production of 1,4-naphthalene-dicarboxylic acid.</p> |
