摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a radio-wave lens element with phase variation from 180 deg. to 360 deg. of a phase shifter of 0 deg. to 180 deg., by feeding a reception antenna and radiation antenna from mutually-opposite directions in regard to a straight line connecting both feeding points. CONSTITUTION:In regard to straight line 10 connecting feeding points 9, reception antenna 5 and radiation antenna 6 are fed from mutually-opposite directions. Radio waves with linear polarized waves arriving at the radio-wave lens element in this constitution are supplied to macrostripe line 1 via horn 4, slot line 3 and feeding points 9 and reach antenna 6 through phase shifter 7, so that they will be radiated from horn 4 in the air. Since the direction of polarized waves of radio waves radiated from this antenna 6 is different from the conventional ones, the radio-wave lens element 180 deg. out of phase with the conventional ones can be obtained. This results in that the radio-wave lens element with phase variation from 180 deg. to 360 deg. can be formed of phase shifter 7 of 0 deg. to 180 deg., so that the loss at phase shifter 7 can be reduced to half in comparison with the conventional ones.
