[Also in Division C7] A stop-weld material, which is galvanically neutral with respect to aluminium and copper, consists of an aqueous suspension containing, by weight: 16-41% of the sum of titanium dioxide and boron nitride; 0À5-5%, preferably 1-3%, bentonite; 0À1-4%, preferably 0À25- 1À5%, magnesium montmorillonite; and the balance essentially water. Silicon dioxide, which can be in the form of colloidal silica, is present as 0À1-10%, and preferably 0À1-1À0% of the suspension. The boron nitride can be present to the extent of at least 40% of the weight of titanium dioxide.</p> |
