A peg has a top portion 10 extending downwards in the form of two spaced arms 13 which define a guideway 16 for the peg to receive a clothes line 17 or like support and any article positioned thereon, the guideway extending upwards towards the top portion into an aperture 12 defined by the spaced arms so that the uppermost portions of the guideway are defined by two fingers 14 extending into the said aperture and terminating therein. The peg is preferably a unitary moulding of polypropylene or polyethylene. The fingers 14 curve in towards each other at their upper ends but do not touch as do the arms 13. When the peg is applied to a wire 21 it is gripped by the upper ends and the wall of the recess 12. The peg is made up of a planer portion 18, all the edges of which have upstanding webs 19 which reinforce the peg as well as making it easier to handle. |
