PURPOSE:To enable a feed bar and a clamp to make open-and-close motion quickly by making a pair of clamping bodies equipped with a top guide roll and a side guide roll open and close by means of a rod through a linking mechanism. CONSTITUTION:One each of feed bars 2 is provided on the both sides of a press line and when these feed bars make rectangular-wise movement, works to be pressed are orderly conveyed to metal molds (or permanent molds) arranged with an appropriate spacing. Clamping bodies 14 a and 14 b are supported by shafts 13 a and 13 b and equipped with a top guide rolls 15 a and also with side guide rolls 16 a and 16 b. Attaching and removing of the feed bars 2 can be done simply by swinging the clamping bodies 14 a and 14 b simultaneously in the arrow direction through a linking mechanism by shifting a rod 21 in the axial direction. |
