The anti blocking brake control has a hydraulic servo comprising a pump, a reservoir and a modulating control in which the connection between the master brake cylinder and the brakes is closed and the brakes are vented. The return line from the servo control may be connected through a flow restrictor to the suction side of the pump to modulate successive modulation cycles. The system ensures that the second and subsequent pressure peaks in the brakes are lower than the first and thus lead to a more stable braking control.
