Large dia. stop valve for hot gas piping - has central hollow cylinder forming slide and opposite annular flanges fixed to sealing plates

The stop valve slide is for large-dia. pipes, partic. handling hot gas, working between seats on the inlet and outlet side of the housing. Holders and bellows on the slide form a sealed chamber with sealing plates joined to the central slide portion and which are pressed by cooling fluid delivered into the chamber against the seats. The central part of the slide is a hollow cylinder (17) with opposite annular flanges (14) fixed to the sealing plates (9) and of the same dia. The holders are bars (18) fixed to the inside of the cylinder and protruding beyond it, and which engage under the annular flanges.
