<p>The device is for turning off-cut boards onto their wide cutting face, used on a multiple-blade frame saw assembly. Guide plates separate the off-cuts from the main pieces, with vertical spiked rollers outside these to guide the off-cuts away, with sloping rollers and wedges. The wedge units are in the form of vertical, freely rotatable turning rollers (24). Each of these has its top end hinged to the guide plate (13) while its bottom end can swing away from the plate. The guide plates can be fitted with deflectors (20) covering the rollers when theseare not swung away.</p> |
