Injection moulding machine for mass prodn. of small articles has a number of indexable rotary work tables associated with endless conveyors carrying injection moulds which are filled with plastics material over sprue channels when the moulds are passing the plasticising unit provided adjacent the table. Each mould consists of two parts, one part being carried by the endless conveyor and the other including the sprue channels being carried by the endless conveyor past another table at which the sprue is removed from the channels. Both conveyors are moved synchronously w.r.t the table at which injection of the moulds takes place. Used for moulding polycarbonate articles up to a volume of 40 cu. cm., such as, covers for glass containers, socket connections and sealing elements. Sprues are readily ejected without any problems, bearing in mind the hardness of the plastics material used.
