The hanging bracket is used to support guide cables for high voltage lines and is designed to imimise unreasonable torques and bending loads. The insulator (6) has a flange coupling (4) which provides the location for the guide. A hole is located (8) in the flange that provides location for a pin to be inserted which carries the main cable support. The cable support is in the form of a yoke allowing the cable to adopt its own position of equilibrium.
