Processing of effluents from flue gas washing plants - by vaporising in part flow of hot tube gas branched off from the main stream

The effluents of flue gas scrubbing plants which are sprayed into and vapourised by an evaporator-cooler installed in the stream of flue gas, and from which the remaining salts are removed after drying, are processed in a part flow of flue gas branched off from the main stream. The salts recovered by the vaporising process as dry residues together with the small amount of dust, are separated out in a fabric filter behind the evaporator-cooler. System handles the effluents in such a way that a fully satisfactory cleaning is achieved without additional sources of energy being called upon. The salts recovered are separated dry in isolation from the fly and dust deposited in the electrofilter.
