PURPOSE:To decrease the iquivalent impedance of the oscillator as well as to the frequency-temperature characteristics by distributing the electrode different from each other at the both ends of the main surface, the earth electrode at the center part and the opposite electrodes of the main axis to be fifferent electrodes to each other. CONSTITUTION:Three units of the electrode are distributed on both main surfaces vertical to the Y axis of thickness-width shear oscillator 15; electrode 18 and 21 provided at the center part are earthed; and the sam polarity is secured between electrode 16 and 20 as well as between electrode 17 and 19. Now, with application of the alternating voltage to electrode terminal 22 and 23, the electric field functions toward the arrow, and the parallel field becomes lower than that with no earth electrode since the earth electrode is located at the center. As a result, the vertical field can be increased, and the equivalent impedance can be reduced less than conventional. Furthermore, an oscillator with the excellent frequency-temperature characteristics can be obtained through proper selection of the cut-out angle and the side ratio. |
