Transportable backrest has a variable-length, height-adjustable solid pad body which projects into an opening at the height of the dorsal curvature, spanned by a diaphragm in a rigid support body which is shaped according to statistical averages of human measurements in relation to the profile of the back. Preferably a guide rail spans the aperture on the opposite side from the diaphragm and has a slot in which the pad body is guided and fixable for longitudinal displacement. The back-rest can be adapted to the requirements of the individual user. |
