PURPOSE:To make possible combined provision of a cancellation terminal unit function by providing a function of issuing booked tickets from booking terminal units and a function of letting the booked ticket travel in the specified direction, reading its magnetic writing data, performing cancellation processing then releasing the same at the time of cancellation. CONSTITUTION:At the time of issuing a booked ticket, the booked ticket 6 is run in the forward direction X by a ticket conveying mechanism 5, is then printed and written with required data and is issured from a ticket discharge port 8. At the time of cancellation, an instruction is given to an operation panel part 13 that it is a cancellation operation and the ticket 6 is inserted through the discharge port 8. A conveying control part 11 outputs the control signal (e), which causes the mechanism 5 to run the ticket in the direction Y opposite from that at the issue, thereby sending the ticket 6 in the direction Y. While the ticket 6 is passing a magnetic read head 3, the magnetic write data are subsequently read and the read data (h) are given as cancellation data (c) to a transmission-reception control part 12, whereby concellation processing of the ticket 6 is accomplished. The control part 12 controls the control part 11 via writing and printing control part 10, causing the mechanism 5 to run in the direction X and releasing the ticket 6 through the port 8. Thus the booked ticket issue and its cancellation may be made with the same terminal unit. |
