PURPOSE:To provide an indoor unit for air conditioner, which is arranged such that a bell mouth of cool air ejecting fan is located above a drain receptacle that is disposed downwardly of heat exchanger, whereby it is enabled to prevent scattering of drain to the surroundings. CONSTITUTION:At the time when air conditioner is operate to cool air in the room to be air-conditioned, drain or dewdrop generated around heat exchanger 3 is collected in drain receptacle 8. On the other hand, bell mouth 9 is located above the drain receptacle 8, so that drain attached to the bell mouth 9 is also dropped into the drain receptacle 8. Thus, in diffusing cool air from air diffusing louver 7 by means of fan 4, it is prevented that drain attached to bell mouth 9 be ejected to the room, so that the room can be cooled comfortably. |
