PURPOSE:To improve transparency especially obtained by forming, by comprising polypropylene, dibenzylidene sorbitol, and a metal salt of a carboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:Polypropylene (preferably propylene-ethylene random copolymer with an ethylene content of 0.05-10 wt.%, is blended with A) 0.03-1 wt%, preferably 0.05-0.5 wt.% of dibenzylidene sorbitol and B) 0.01-0.5 wt%, preferably 0.03-0.2 wt.% of a metal salt of carboxylic acid having an average particle diameter not more than 100 mu. Sodium, potassium, calcium stearates and adipates, sodium benzoate, etc. may be cited as examples of the component B. EFFECT:The use of the components A and B improves transparency of molded articles much more than the component A or B. |
