PURPOSE:A rush-like structure having a crispy touch and surface luster similar to natural tatami facing, moderate moisture absorption, hygroscopicity, and elastic recovery, etc., wherein the inner layer has a foamed structure, and the skin layer of wrinkle structure contains a specific filler. CONSTITUTION:An acrylonitrile homopolymer or a copolymer consisting of acrylonitnile and an ethylenically unsaturated compound, is dry, wet, semi-melt, or melt spun to form a foamed natural rush-like structure, which is then brought into contact with a dispersion containing a powdery inorganic filler having a refractive index <=2.0, and dried to give a rush-like structure. The structure has an average diameter of 0.05-5mm, preferably 1-2.5mm, a bulk density of 0.05--0.8 g/cm<3>, preferably 0.1-0.5 g/cm<3>, and is properly delustered.
