PURPOSE:To obtain desired steady mode distribution by series-connecting plural multimode fibers in an optical communication system. CONSTITUTION:Plural multimode fibers 1 thru 5 are series-connected by causing axial deviations by (s) respectively and angle deviations by theta respectively. And selecting the number of the connection stages by making the axial deviations (s) or angle deviations theta constant enables the desired steady mode distribution to be obtained. |
