<p>PURPOSE:To provide a package containing vegitables or fruits which is superior in keep-fresh and see-through qualities by applying thin film of alkali metal salts of aliphatic acids to an inner surface of a synthetic resin film which covers the vegitables or fruits. CONSTITUTION:Vegitables or fruits 1 such as lettuces or strawberries are contained in a synthetic resin film or sheet 2 having good vapor and oxygen permiabilities such as a polystyrene film and polyvinyl chloride film to form a package, the inner surface of the film being applied with a thin film 3 of a sodium or potssium salt of saturated or unsaturated C12-C22 -aliphatic acids. The resulting package has good keep-fresh and anti-fog properties, and offers economical effect from the point of view for saving food resources.</p> |
