A cross-linear bearing unit comprises a bearing body 1 having in one surface thereof a raceway adapted to receive a race bar 2 and also having a rail hole passing through the body substantially orthogonally to the raceway and adapted to receive a rail 12, the raceway and race bar and the rail hole and rail respectively defining, with respective ball retaining members, recirculatory ball bearing tracks. The invention also comprises a cross slide having a slide base mounted on rails supported by such cross-linear bearing units. <IMAGE> |
