Prodn. method for autotype of irregular structure - using coarse grained photographic material and developing in infection developer

The scanning-pattern image of irregular structure prodn. method enables the contrast to be reduced in, e.g. screen printing. The procedure consists of exposing halogen silver photographic material, its subsequent development, copying of the resultant image onto a high contrast light-sensitive material and development of exposed, steeply responding material. A coarse grained halogen silver photo. material having an average linear micro-crystal structure of 4 to 6 mu m is exposed. The material is then developed in an infection developer. This gives a high resolution.
