<p>A multiple clamp for assembling tubes for scaffolding consists of a triangular plate (1). Two half clamps (13, 14) are formed integrally with the plate (1) at two corners of the triangle. These half clamps (13, 14) support two parallel horizontal tubes (23, 24) by means of swing links (15, 16) and bolts (19). The plate (1) carries a third fixed half clamp which co-operates with the hinged half clamp (4) and bolt (6) to clamp the vertical tube (11). A fourth fixed half clamp on the other side of the plate (1) clamps are horizontal tube (12), through the hinged half clamp (5). The use of this multiple clamp, reduces the number of clamps required and speeds up assembly and dismantling of scaffolding.</p> |
