<p>Oblong objects are transferred through a horizontal heating tunnel in order to apply heat to a shrink wrapping foil that covers the objects. Infra-red radiators, located on both tunnel walls, and directed against the moving objects, produce the required heat. A forced air nozzle is placed at the tunnel entry so that the air flow is in the transfer direction of the objections. The air flow from the blower produces a forced air circulation inside the tunnel which is parallel to the moving objects.</p> |
