PURPOSE:To obtain a multivibrator which changes the output pulse width and the oscillated frequency according as the power supply voltage changes by utilizing the change of the supply voltage, which is a feature of C-MOS (complementary MOS) IC, as well as the threshold voltage and the output voltage change point. CONSTITUTION:Assuming that the ''H'' output is outputted from inverter INV and negative pulses are applied to input terminal IN, the input and the output of NAND gate NAND are ''H,H'' and ''L'' respectively before negative pluse input. However, when negative pulses are applied, the output of NAND becomes ''H'' since the input of NAND becomes ''L,H'', and these signals are differentiated by a differentiating circuit constituted by C and R2 and are inputted to INV. Therefore, INV holds the output at ''L'' until the differentiated output becomes below the theshold voltage of INV. When the differentiated output becomes below the threshol voltage, the output of INV returns to ''H'' and the output of NAND becomes ''L'' because IN is normally ''H''. |
