<p>There is a retainer for the swivel axis of the top hinge arm on the tilting hinge for an awning sunblind, or similar, inclinable about an axis running transversely to the swivel axis. There is an automatic arresting device (41) locking the retainer (20) in a predetermined tilt setting in both directions of tilt. This can have an adjustable stop (43) engaged a recess (33) in the retainer, and a threaded bar (42) passing through the recess across the tilt axis. This prevents the awning from being knocked upward when extended, while the hinge automatically resumed its vertical position when it is drawn in.</p> |
