Grinding belt trying mechanism - has adjuster with tension sensor to act on belt jockey roller bracket

The mechanism keeps a grinding belt running true, having a jockey roller mounted in a slewing bracket and movable in the lengthwise direction of the belt. A regulator with measuring device detects deviation of the belt edge from a predetermined desired position and compares it with the latter. The mechanism acts on the bracket of the jockey roller. It prevents the belt running right off the roller when rapid deviation occurs, with consequent destruction both of belt and roller.
