PURPOSE:To obtain a gas laser tube of high mechanical accuracy by maintaining the state of butting the inside surface of a mirror to the end face of a plasma fine tube. CONSTITUTION:A mirror 5 is so disposed as to be butted to the end face 8 of a plasma tube 2 having been made perpendicular and this state is mechanically maintained by a cap 15. It is hermetically shielded from the atmosphere through sealing by frit 20. The stress based on the difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion between the frit by the frit-sealed part and the tube 2 will not apply directly upon the end face 8, thus preventing the occurrence of cracking. |
